boy-band magazine

boy-band (n) // subversion
A group of male musical artists. They are usually in their early 20s. They are heart-throbs to tween girls. They usually use a lot of auto-tune in their songs because they can't sing that well, and are only famous because they're "hot." The typical boy band consists of the "shy boy," the "cool boy," the "bad boy," the "dreamy boy," and the one no one remembers. They normally break up after 2-5 years.
Boy bands are overrated.
Our boy-band is subversion. We're a lifestyle and literature magazine created and directed by students at Franklin & Marshall College.
